Carden Method

We follow the Carden curriculum, a total curriculum in which all subject matter is interrelated and presented sequentially. Written by the late Mae Carden, the Carden System helps children develop the ability to reach logical and true conclusions by analyzing, evaluating and classifying information. Inherent in the Carden Method are specialized teaching procedures and techniques designed to provide the opportunity for the natural unfolding of the mind, personality and capacities of each child.

The Carden Method provides a sound, basic education that engenders appreciation of art and music, affords participation in drama performances, and develops the student by awakening him or her to ethical and social values. Carden concerns itself with the development of the whole child. It is highly individualized in approach, meeting the particular needs of the learner.

"I want children to learn and enjoy learning.
Life is a joy, so should be learning."

-Mae Carden
