	Our Philosophy & Statement of Faith

The purpose of Carden Christian Academy is to provide an educational experience for pre-school through junior high age children of all races, ethnic origins, and faiths, with an emphasis on academic and spiritual excellence. By the reinforcement of Christian principles in the classroom, it is our desire to develop moral character values in the individual child.

Since we firmly believe that it is the parents' responsibility to train up their children spiritually, no effort will be made to direct the child's denominational training. Carden Christian Academy is a non-denominational school founded on following basic Christian tenets:

There is one Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God is the Creator of all.
The Bible is the inerrant Word of God.
All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.
Christ was sent to earth, born of a virgin's birth.
During Jesus' lifetime, he lived a sinless life and grew, as each of us should strive to grow in wisdom, knowledge, faith and stature.
God sent his only Son to earth to free mankind from their sins. Jesus died on the cross and He was resurrected from the dead to give those who repent and believe eternal life.
Salvation is given by God's grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

These beliefs will be reflected in the school's emphasis on the child's attitude and relationship with God, parents, teachers and fellow students. Pupils, faculty and staff will abide by these established Christian values.
